RIP Casandra

If you live locally then you will know what I'm talking about, but a girl that I went to high school with went missing Friday night, and was found Saturday murdered and foul play was suspected.

I spent a lot of time with her in our school years, I remember going to her house and having slumber parties, jumping on the trampoline outside, calling each other every minute of the day to talk about ... well just anything. She was the type of friend that no matter if we were just sitting and talking or going out we had fun.

I am sick to my stomach knowing that someone could have done this to her and I pray to God that we don't know him too. I lost touch with her after a while, and I think she has a baby. It shouldn't be times like this to make people realize that good friends are hard to come by and wont last forever. Take every moment with anyone you are close to and cherish those times.

Casandra,
Hey girl, its your long lost friend Mindy! I am just sitting here remembering all the times we shared together and trying to figure out why we lost touch. We were certainly crazy back then. Do you remember all those times your mom had to come tell us to quiet down when we had the radio turned up to loud, or tell us that we had to get off the phone and go to bed. Time sure flies when your having fun. To catch up with each other I will tell you a little about me. I got married this summer and am in the dental assisting program at school. I work on campus a few days a week and life is going great. I attend yoga, pilates and zumba classes almost every week and love going! I cheered one year in college and that was it, so no more cheering for me! It's actually snowing outside right now and I really wish that you were here to see it. I will think about you and pray for your happiness. We will catch this awful person that has done this to you, I promise. I am sorry that we lost touch, but just know that you will never be forgotten and you will always be in my heart. One day, I will see you on the other side and we can turn our radios up SOO LOUD and dance our little hearts away. Love and miss ya girl!
Mindy
